Strictly Necessary
These are required for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They include cookies and local storage used for authentication and session management, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie and consent choices (for example, whether you accepted analytics). We do not need your consent for strictly necessary cookies, and no analytics run through them.
Preferences
These remember choices you make, such as your selected language and light or dark theme, so the Service behaves the way you expect. They are stored locally in your browser.
Analytics (consent-based)
With your consent, we use analytics to understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We use PostHog for product analytics. These cookies are strictly opt-in: no analytics scripts load and no analytics events are collected until you accept them. If you decline, analytics stay off.

3. How We Ask for Consent
When you first visit LaunchMap, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Analytics do not start until you choose "Accept." If you choose "Reject," or ignore the banner, no analytics run. Your choice is remembered on your device so we do not ask again on every visit. Strictly necessary and preference cookies are always active because the Service cannot work without them.
4. How to Change Your Choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
- Clear your browser's cookies and site data for LaunchMap. The consent banner will appear again on your next visit so you can make a new choice.
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when a site sets them. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Service.
- In the web application, manage your analytics and AI processing consent from your account settings.
